hello!

exams are over, holidays just started. so there's nothing much to do now is there? except for tutoring. replacement classes are killing me man.

keeping myself occupied with movies. my tv's so going to get overheated one day. and then, it's going to explode.

watched underworld one two and three yesterday; back-to-back. all that action plus kate beckinsale as the lead actress. fuh. awesome.

watched a-team recently. it was gooood. wonder why liam neeson isnt famous. maybe he is, i don't know. you should watch this movie called Taken if you like him. it's my favourite movie! :D

after watching underworld, i watched rambo 4 with daddy. he ended up sleeping as usual. that movie was bloody, violent and cooool. i like movies like rambo and taken. niceeee.

movies i want to watch again: pathfinder, 300 and apocalyto. rawr.

okay so enough of movies. celebrated che's 21st birthday 2 days ago. had fun with the family and cousins. pictures are up on facebook already. so enjoy :)

GEC organised a tree planting activity just this morning at Raja Muda Peat Forest, Kuala Selangor (one hour drive from PJ) it was tiring but fun :) we managed to plant 400 seedlings (pokok mahang) so pictures!

regina drove in midway cos the road was kinda bumpy. so we decided to walk.

from left to right: yee fan, shelly, regina.

so this is called marcotting, a propagation technique.

step 1: cut the branch deep enough just to remove the epidermis layer.

step 2: cut it around in a circle.

step 3: remove the epidermis layer and the rubber around it.

step 4: wrap it around with plastic and tie it up.

step 5: grab some soil

step 6: mould it into a nice round shape

step 7: place it in the plastic.

and there you have it! :)

PMS and Migraine Diet
Depending on the patient’s individual symptoms and their severity, the doctor may recommend how one may take an active role in the management of PMS and premenstrual migraine by following these guidelines:

*Eat six small meals at regular three-hour intervals, high in complex carbohydrates and low in simple sugars. This helps to maintain a stead blood glucose level and avoid energy highs and lows.

*Substantially reduce and eliminate use of caffeine, alcohol, salt, fats, and simple sugars to reduce bloating, fatigue, tension and depression.

*Daily supplemental vitamins and minerals may be administered to relieve some PMS symptoms. A multivitamin with B6(100 mcg), B complex, magnesium (300mg), Vitamin E (400 IU) and vitamin C (1000 mg) may be recommended to alleviate irritability, fluid retention, joint aches, breast tenderness, anxiety, depression and fatigue. Be sure to check with your doctor before taking any medication for PMS.

*Exercise is helpful for PMS because it reduces stress and tension, acts as a mood elevator, provides a sense of well-being and improves blood circulation by increasing natural production of beta-endorphins. It is recommended, if your physician so advises, to exercise at least three times weekly for 20-30 minutes. Aerobics, walking, jogging, bicycling and swimming are a few of the suggested ways to exercise.

Characteristics
Over 150 symptoms have been attributed to PMS. After complaints of feeling "out-of-control", anxious, depressed and having uncontrollable crying spells, the most common complaints are headache and fatigue. But symptoms may vary from month to month and there may even be symptom-free months. No women present with all the PMS symptoms. Characteristically symptoms may be both physical and emotional. They may include physical symptoms as headache, migraine, fluid retention, fatigue, constipation, painful joints, backache, abdominal cramping, heart palpitations and weight gain. where i slept. couldn't sleep well for 2 nights, kept having bad dreams :S

arrived at sungai tembeling around noon. took us 2-3 hours by car and then by bus to get to the jetty. took a boat across the river to get to Mutiara Resort. chalets are pretty pricey there so we all decided to stay at the hostel. 2 rooms for all 16 of us. 4 double decker beds in one room, air conditioned. + 4 hot hunks who live next door, god can my trip be any better.

after checking in, we headed straight to gua telinga. the cave's so tiny! we all had to practically crawl in. we were also surrounded by hundreds of bats. my shirt was covered in bat's poop, i swear! getting outta that cave surely was challenging. but i had lots of fun, uncle behind me was making tons of jokes. haha!

went back to the hostel to take a shower. after that, dinner at the floating restaurant. sounds very awesome i know. the food there's kinda sucky. but we were all hungry so everything tasted good to us :) lalala. trekking soon after!

ah, the stars looked gorgeous that night. anyway! we headed to the observation tower before going into the jungle. saw a deer! and a huge ass lizard omg! its like the size of my arm! discovered weird insects, insects i havent seen before. i wasn't afraid, i dont know why. okay, i'm definitely still afraid of cockroaches. serious phobia wei!

next day!

went to the canopy walkway. we had to climb 3985268457 steps to get there. went back down and climbed back up to bukit terisek to view gunung tahan. the view was breathtaking. i felt like every single step i took and all the muscle cramps was worth it. it was windy, and chilly. apparently it takes 7 days to get to the peak of gunung tahan from bukit terisek. interested to go? call me!

went back to the same ol' floating restaurant to have lunch. and then later visited the alborgines of pahang. last activity of the day; rapid shooting. had the awesomest time. was shivering all the way back. had dinner, waited so damn long outside the room for my phone to charge. stoopid phone. there were only 3 plug points for all of us. how you tell me? before i went to bed, my cousins and i gazed upon the stars for one last time. a sight i'll never forget.

so we did nothing on the last day, just chilled. during noon, we took a boat and then a bus back to jerantut. took us approximately 2-3 hours also. i was exhausted by then. uncle fetched my cousin and i back home. HOME! missed my family alot. felt kinda lonely while i was there.

so yeap, thats about it. i would do it all over again, heh. imma bounce. night guys.
